Aubrey received his physiotherapy degree from the well respected Curtin University of Technology in 1998. Whilst working as a Musculoskeletal therapist for 5 years Aubrey completed an Introductory and Advanced course in Anatomical Acupuncture at the Australian Physiotherapy Association. In 2003 Aubrey went on to complete his Grad.Dip. in Sports & Manual Therapy from the Centre for Musculoskeletal Studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA).

Aubrey then completed his Master of Mededical Science (by Thesis) at UWA in January 2009 and lectured and tutored anatomy for Notre Dame Physiotherapy students during this time. He has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and has previously held positions as a personal trainer and sports trainer for various sporting clubs. Overall, Aubrey has significant theoretical and practical experience and is well trained to assess, diagnose and treat muscle, nerve and bone related conditions. In 2011 Aubrey took on the role as Adjunct Teaching Fellow at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Studies (UWA) where he teaches post-graduate physiotherapy students Muscle Rehabilitation and Specific Soft-tissue Mobilisation (SSTM) techniques. He continues to practice as a Manual Therapist treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Katrina Lim

Katrina graduated from Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2008. Katrina has worked as a volunteer at the Malaysian National Stroke Association and completed self-directed research at the Aso Rehabilitation College in Fukuoka, Japan. Katrina became a member of the Precision Physiotherapy team in March 2009. Since joining us Katrina has made a significant contribution to the physiotherapy services provided at the Manning practice and has proven to be a very capable therapist with a keen interest in Musculoskeletal conditions. Katrina has also completed both introductory and advanced courses in Anatomical Acupuncture (an optional treatment addition at no extra cost). Katrina lives locally and makes herself available 6 days per week. In 2011 Katrina was awarded the 'Most Valued Team Member' for her consistent commitment to the clients and the Team.

Matthew Irwin

Matthew completed his degree in Physiotherapy at the well respected Curtin University in 2009. Matthew has been with Precision Physiotherapy since graduating and has demonstrated a particular interest in musculoskeletal conditions and a keen mind for assessing, diagnosing and treating biomechanical problems. Matthew does a great job at treating both general and sporting conditions at the Cannington and Brentwood clinics. He also works closely with Dr Sembi at Brentwood Village Medical Centre when treating clients with chronic conditions and/or complex conditions.

Phillip

Phillip also completed his degree with  the well respected School of Physiotherapy at Curtin University. In 2011 Phillip broadened his skills at Bentley Health Service's Outpatient Musculoskeletal department where he treated a variety of conditions with an emphasis on spinal (neck and lower back) conditions. Phillip has also treated clients in the musculoskeletal setting at Collie Hospital and researched the effects of smoking on the management of Reumatoid Arthritis. As a local resident, Phillip makes himself available up to 7 days per week at our Manning clinic. 

 

Helen Cottle

Helen qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2006 graduating with a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of East Anglia in the UK.  She has over 5 years post qualification experience working in both the public and private sectors.  During this time she has treated a wide range of clients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, as well as working closely with Orthopaedic surgeons, providing rehabilitation both pre and post operatively. Helen has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal problems and has highly developed assessment and treatment skills. She has particular interests in manual therapy, acupuncture and Pilates and will select the most appropriate combination of treatment approaches to suit the individual client. Helen completed the AACP Foundation Acupuncture course two years ago, as well as APPI Pilates Matwork courses, including Class Instructor.  Helen is a keen runner and has completed both half and full marathons. With her own personal experience of injuries, She is always keen to assist clients in reaching their full potential and return to their normal activities as quickly as possible. Helen is the full-time physiotherapist at our Alfred Cove clinic.
